Call to authors, publishers, and bloggers! We're talking animals!

Hey Friends! I'm going to be doing a month long special later this year. I'm making a call out now to prepare for 31 days of dogs and cats on the blog. I'm looking for non-fiction and fiction with a strong animal presence. I'll consider other animal stories also!

Examples of what I've read: Stay by Allie Larkin, Oogy, Sparkle The Cat, Advice from Stanley the Cat, The Chimp Who Loved Me...

I'm looking for guest posts also! So if you want to write about your favorite animal based book, favorite animal character from a book, your animal, etc. or your an author who would like to share pics and stories of your furry/feathered/scaled pets etc. Send me an email @ ksg_amg(at)yahoo.com

P.S. If you're wondering who the cute doggie is....that's our Biscuit!

  5. Why don't you include one of Gerald Durrell's books - especially My Family and Other Animals.

  7. Wonderful idea! I think my dogs probably have a much more interesting perspective on the world than I do most days. Every new sound or smell is an adventure!

  8. Does that include animal mysteries? I've got a new book out in April featuring an unwilling animal psychic (human) whose sidekick is a grumpy tabby. Together they have to save a dog who is accused of murder in "Dogs Don't Lie" (Poisoned Pen Press). You can see more about it at my home site:

Would love to get you a review copy and/or do a guest blog!

  9. I write a cat blog at Paws and Effect (http://www.paws-and-effect.com/). In addition to weekly advice columns written "by cats, for cats and their people," my youngest adoptee, Dahlia, is telling her life story, too. Come visit if you'd like, and the cats and I would love to participate if you'd like us to!
