What I Thought:

Awesome Read! I think the author totally rocked out the zombie angle in this one!

The story we follow is interesting because the main character, Temple, remembers nothing of life before the "zombies." She was a small child in an orphanage when the mess hit so it was a twist to follow a character surviving as she always has.

I have to say that I was really impressed with the overall storyline. I read this one in a day because I just could NOT put it down.

I'll point out that the ending did make me mad. I was expecting something to happen that didn't. That's probably what will make this one memorable for me for a long time.

    my favorite zom-coms are shawn of the dead and fido. i don't think that fido got nearly as much attention as it should have, so if you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? :)

    My favorite Zombie book would be - Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist. It's known more as a vampire book but one of the main characters is or becomes a zombie like character as the book proceeds. Its a different type of book.

  14. I LOVE all these great suggestions! There are a few I've never heard of but now I HAVE to go look them up.

    I love Resident Evil also...some of my fav movies. I've never heard of Fido so I'm defenitely going to check that one out. Worls War-Z sounds awesome also.

  15. When I clicked on this blogg I thought, "I'm not into zombies but that book sounds good."

    Then I read all the bloggs and thought I saw that and that one too. Hey I read that book and loved the Resident Evil movies. I even read a book two days ago about a zombie. I laughed at Zombieland. Then I thought:

    Oh, my goodness I'm a zombie junky and just didn't know it. Wow!

    Will have to read Let the right one In thanks for suggestion!

  21. Okay so i have to admit I am not a huge zombie fan, but this book sounds really good. I do like the original night of the living dead, shaun of the dead, and this zombie short released by the Masters of Horror.
