Review: Silver Kiss by Naomi Clark: An Urban Wolf Novel

About The Book:
Ayla Hammond has come home.
After years as a lone wolf in a self-imposed exile she’s rejoining the pack and trying to mend fences with her parents. She’s convinced them to accept her girlfriend, but can a lone wolf change her ways?
As if homecoming wasn’t hard enough, Ayla also can’t help getting involved in a missing person case. With pressure to solve the case mounting from the pack alphas, Ayla is starting to question where her loyalties lie – and if a return to the pack she left behind is really what she wants.
My Review:
Silver Kiss is an urban fantasy. (with a paranormal and romantic twist IMO) It was a committed couple so you can't really call it a romance but it was just as good if you know what I mean! was awesome! The main couple of the story are f/f, Ayla, and Shannon, they move back to Ayla's home town and the crap hits the fan. They're faced with pack problems, drug dealing, and relationship issues. I won't say much more so I don't spoil it!
I enjoyed the fact that the main character was a strong and kick-butt woman. Naomi Clark really did a fantastic job creating the players in this book. When an author can make you feel strong emotion towards any character (both big and small) you know they're good!
The storyline was different and really held my interest. I read this one all in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. It was actually one of the better Urban Fantasy books that I've read lately and I'd recommend it if you're looking for something new and exciting.
About The Author:
A former army brat, Naomi is now happily settled in Cambridge, living in a converted cowshed with a tank full of catfish. She has been writing stories ever since she learned to write. A lifelong fascination with dragons, monsters, magic and ghosts eventually lead her to urban fantasy. Her short fiction has appeared in a variety of ezines and she also writes a monthly horoscope column for a local magazine. Find out more at
