Review: From The Shadows by E.J. Stevens

Book description:
"From the Shadows" is a collection of dark poetry. Stevens' work rekindles the great lyrical storytelling style of Edgar Allen Poe with a dark imagination influenced by such masters as Neil Gaiman and H. P. Lovecraft.
About the Author:
E. J. Stevens is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Erica has worked in a variety of jobs that demonstrate the human condition including schools, psychiatric hospitals and (*shudder*) shopping malls. She currently resides on the coast of Maine where she finds daily inspiration for her writing.
My review:
I'm not familiar with poetry terminology so this review will be short and sweet. :)
What I can tell you is whether or not I liked a book. I certainly enjoyed E.J.'s collection of poetry. She has a wonderful way with words and is able to tell a whole story in just a few lines of poetry. I think that's the most important part of being a good poet, and it really shows talent.
I really enjoyed it and recommend that you check out "From The Shadows" and other upcoming titles!
