Series Review: Generation Dead by Daniel Waters

Truth be told, this series has been sitting in my TBR pile for quite some time now. Not because I wasn't looking forward to reading it but because as a review our TBR stacks are always a mile high.
I decided to pick this out of the pile and was totally pleased with the series. So pleased in fact, that I read through the series in 3 days.
I really enjoy zombie books....or differently biotic.....if you like that term better. If you enjoy a good non-scary zombie book that takes a look at it from the zombie perspective then this is a series to try out.
I have my own favorite characters and there is someone for EVERYONE in this series so go ahead and see who YOU like the best.

Review: Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendra Blake
I really enjoyed this one! I love a good ghost story and this one had it all. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline.I'll be honest and say that I'm not familiar with the author BUT I will now be keeping my out for her.
I found the story to be original and entertaining. I also thought that it was refreshing to be reading something different. I read A LOT so it's hard to find something that doesn't seem repititious. This was a good little break from vampires and werewolves. (Though I still love them dearly LOL!)
I'd say to check this one out whenever it is released. I know I'll be wanting to read more from this author.
About The Book:
(from Goodreads)
Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead.
So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now, armed with his father's mysterious and deadly athame, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. Together they follow legends and local lore, trying to keep up with the murderous dead—keeping pesky things like the future and friends at bay.
When they arrive in a new town in search of a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas doesn't expect anything outside of the ordinary: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage, a ghost like he's never faced before. She still wears the dress she wore on the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white, now stained red and dripping with blood. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home.
But she, for whatever reason, spares Cas's life.
